A late evening at the Gateway

One of Mumbai's biggest & most historic symbols. This tall and imposing structure was erected to commemorate the arrival of King George V and Queen Mary to India on the 2nd of Dec MCMXI. I love the glow in the backdrop. Almost looks like a halo around the structure. I also love the haziness in this picture. The grains in the photo give it a very old world feel and takes one back several decades in time.
hmmmmm.... the mood definitely looks changed!
